There is nothing more important in business than people development. David has been mentoring and coaching professionals for his entire career, bringing out the best in people through candor, trust, respect, and compassion.
David focuses on executive coaching in a one-on-one setting, primarily in the technology sector. Self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and trust based relationships are at the core of his work. He marries his extensive business acumen with his deep passion for people development.
David has over 40 years of business experience. He was a forensic accountant and PwC partner for 20 years in five different offices, including Zurich where he worked for the Volker Commission, investigating ownership of WWII-era Swiss bank accounts. At PwC he held several senior roles, including seven years as the global lead partner for Apple. Prior to PwC, he was an entrepreneur and started a wine brokerage business, and was the CFO of a privately held software company.
David graduated cum laude from Cal Poly with a B.A. in Business Administration and a minor in Law. Education is a personal passion, and he has served on the BUILD board for over eight years, including three years as the board chair. Personally, he enjoys competitive tennis, fine wines, and time with his wife, son, and two large Labradors.
